Venture further off the beaten path to the secluded settlement of Tafraoute Sidi Ali before reaching Merzouga, where a camel trek leads you into the Erg Chebbi dunes for a night under the stars. Conclude with a visit to the dramatic Todra Gorges and Dades Valley before returning to Marrakech via the scenic Rose Valley

Itinerary

Day-1 Marrakech → Ait Benhaddou → Zagora

Departure from your hotel in Marrakech over the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Visit the famous Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site, then continue through Ouarzazate and along the scenic Draa Valley to reach Zagora. Dinner and overnight in Zagora.

Day-2 Zagora → Tafraoute Sidi Ali

After breakfast, drive deeper into the remote Sahara, passing traditional Berber villages. Arrive at Tafraoute Sidi Ali, a small desert settlement surrounded small atlas mountains. watch the sunset over the Sahara, followed by dinner and overnight in a Hotel/Riad.

Day-3 Tafraoute Sidi Ali → Merzouga

Today we cross an off-road desert track through wild landscapes to reach Merzouga, home of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Upon arrival, take a camel trek to your desert camp, enjoy a magical sunset, traditional dinner, and spend the night under the starry desert sky.

Day-4 Merzouga → Todra Gorges → Dades Valley

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, head towards the spectacular Todra Gorges with time to explore the canyon. Continue to Dades Valley for dinner and overnight.

Day-5 Dades Valley → Marrakech

After breakfast, travel back through the Valley of Roses and Ouarzazate, with optional visits to local kasbahs, before crossing the High Atlas Mountains to return to Marrakech. End of the tour.
