Itinerary

Day-1 Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes (Old City) – Fes

Your journey begins with a pickup from Casablanca airport or your accommodation. We’ll travel past the impressive Hassan Mosque en route to Rabat, Morocco’s administrative capital, where we’ll stop to admire the historic Hassan Tower. Afterward, continue to Meknes to explore the old city briefly before arriving in Fes. Enjoy dinner and spend the night in a traditional riad within the medina.

Day-2 Full Day Exploration of Fes

After breakfast, meet your local guide for a full-day tour of Fes’s ancient medina. Discover the fascinating Jewish Quarter, stroll through vibrant souks, visit the Royal Palace, and witness the traditional leather tanneries. Immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of one of Morocco’s oldest cities. Return to your riad for the night.

Day-3 Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Middle Atlas – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

Depart Fes around 8:00 AM, journeying through the charming alpine town of Ifrane, often dubbed “Morocco’s Switzerland.” Visit the cedar forest near Azrou, home to wild Barbary macaques that you’ll see climbing the trees. Continue through the Ziz Valley and Erfoud, known for its fossil-rich marble, then head to Rissani—a bustling market town. Arrive in Merzouga on the edge of the Sahara Desert for your overnight stay.

Day-4 Full Day in the Desert – Nomads, Berber Villages, Camel Ride & Night in Desert Camp

Begin the day visiting a seasonal lake near Merzouga and the village of Khamlia, famous for its traditional Gnawa music. Explore the vast Erg Chebbi dunes and nearby Berber nomadic settlements. Stop by abandoned mines and a lush palm oasis. After a local lunch, embark on a camel trek into the dunes at sunset. Spend the night in a traditional desert camp under the stars.

Day-5 Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Wake early to capture the stunning desert sunrise. After breakfast and a shower at your accommodation, travel toward the Dades Valley. Pass through Jorf, known for its irrigation systems, and Erfoud, famous for fossil marble. Continue to the breathtaking Todra Gorges, one of Morocco’s most impressive canyons. Overnight stay in the Dades Valley.

Day-6 Dades – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

After breakfast, journey through mud-built Berber villages toward Skoura, known for its extensive palm groves. Visit Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa,” exploring Taourirt Kasbah and the Atlas Film Studios. Then stop at the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a striking fortified village featured in many famous films like Lawrence of Arabia and Game of Thrones. Cross the scenic Tizi n’Tichka pass over the High Atlas Mountains before arriving in Marrakech for your overnight stay.

Day-7 Full Day Sightseeing in Marrakech

Begin a full-day guided tour of Marrakech’s medina, known as the Red City. Visit iconic sites including Jemaa el-Fna Square, the Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, Menara Gardens, and the beautiful Majorelle Garden. Experience the vibrant culture and rich history of this bustling city before returning to your accommodation.

Day-8 Marrakech – Departure

Your tour concludes with a transfer from your accommodation to Marrakech airport for your onward journey.
