Trip Overview

Starting in Casablanca, you’ll visit Rabat’s monuments before continuing to the blue streets of Chefchaouen. Travel onward through Todra Gorge, Dades Valley, and Ouarzazate to Marrakech for a guided tour of its medina. Conclude your trip on the Atlantic coast in Essaouira before returning to Casablanca.

Itinerary

Day-1 Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen

Start from Casablanca, visit Hassan II Mosque, then head to Rabat for highlights like the Oudaya Kasbah and Hassan Tower. Continue to the blue-washed streets of Chefchaouen. Overnight in Chefchaouen.

Day-2 Chefchaouen

Full day to explore Chefchaouen at your own pace — wander the medina, enjoy the local markets, and take in the mountain views. Overnight in Chefchaouen.

Day-3 Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

Depart for the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. Continue to the imperial city of Meknes, visiting Bab Mansour and El Hedim Square, then on to Fes. Overnight in Fes.

Day-4 Exploring Fes with Local Guide

Discover the UNESCO-listed medina with a local guide — highlights include Bou Inania Madrasa, the tanneries, Nejjarine Museum, and Al Quaraouiyine University. Overnight in Fes.

Day-5 Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga Desert

Travel through the Middle Atlas, stopping in Ifrane and the cedar forests of Azrou. Continue via Midelt to the Sahara desert for a camel trek and overnight in a desert camp.

Day-6 Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

Watch the sunrise over the dunes, then drive to the spectacular Todra Gorge for a short walk. Continue to Dades Valley for overnight.

Day-7 Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

Visit Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” and the UNESCO site of Ait Ben Haddou. Cross the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day-8 Exploring Marrakech with Local Guide

Explore Marrakech’s historical landmarks — the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and the vibrant souks around Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day-9 Marrakech – Essaouira

Day-10 Essaouira – Casablanca
