Itinerary
Pick-up from Tangier airport or port and transfer to your hotel. Then start your journey by exploring Tangier, a city uniquely positioned between the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Visit the Kasbah, stroll through the winding streets of the medina, and enjoy panoramic views over the coast. Overnight in Tangier.
 
After breakfast, drive through the Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen, Morocco’s famous blue city. Wander through its blue-painted alleys, visit the Spanish Mosque for stunning panoramic views, and relax in one of the charming traditional cafés. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
 
Depart Chefchaouen for the UNESCO-listed Roman ruins of Volubilis, where you’ll discover ancient mosaics and impressive archaeological remains. Continue to Meknes, an imperial city home to Bab Mansour gate and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Arrive in Fes in the evening. Overnight in Fes.
 
Spend the day exploring the spiritual and cultural capital of Morocco. Visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, Al-Attarine Madrasa, Nejjarine Fountain, and the world-famous tanneries. Wander through the vibrant souks and meet local artisans. Overnight in Fes.
 
Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping at Ifrane (known as “the Switzerland of Morocco”) and the cedar forests near Azrou to see wild Barbary apes. Continue via Midelt and the Ziz Valley to reach Merzouga. In the afternoon, begin your camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes for an overnight stay in a traditional desert camp under the stars.
 
Watch the sunrise over the dunes, then head to the spectacular Todra Gorges for a short walk between towering cliffs. Continue through the scenic Dades Valley before arriving in Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa” for its famous film studios. Overnight in Ouarzazate.
 
Visit the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site, then cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m) with several stops for panoramic photos. Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon, marking the end of your adventure.
