Enjoy a 2-day adventure from Fes to Marrakech, crossing beautiful mountains and desert landscapes. Day 1: Fès – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert
Breakfast, then depart from Fès and travel through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains. Along the way, stop in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and then continue to the cedar forests of Azrou, where you might see Barbary macaques.
Afterward, drive toward Midelt for lunch before continuing through the dramatic Ziz Valley, lined with cliffs and palm groves. By late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Here, meet your camel and ride across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi as the sun sets. In the evening, reach your desert camp, enjoy dinner, and relax under a sky full of stars.
Day 2: Merzouga – Ouarzazate – Aït Ben Haddou – Marrakech
At sunrise, admire the glowing dunes before returning to Merzouga for breakfast. Then, begin your journey toward Marrakech, passing through Alnif, Ouarzazate, and Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After lunch, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, enjoying panoramic views along the way. Finally, arrive in Marrakech by evening, ending your unforgettable two-day desert adventure.
